We all got up after a very good sleep and came down to the picnic bar to collect our lunch. At 8am we came into the dining hall and had a lovely cooked breakfast. After a 40 minute drive to Dalby Forest, we split up into two groups to do stream studies and orienteering. When it was our turn to do the activities, in stream studies we were measuring the flow of water, identification of creatures in the water and the depth of every 10cm across the stream. In orienteering for the warm up we were split into groups of four and we used maps to find the post with information of animals on them. For the main challenge we were in groups of nine with a teacher of our choice. We had to go up steep hills through cows( which led onto cowpats EWWW!!!) most people got drenched as the grass was so wet and it was raining. We went to the shop and bought cool souvenirs. Dinner was nice and the dessert was DIVINE (ICE CREAM!!!! Yummy) the day was a great success and we can't wait until tomorrow!!!!!!
