Today the L3's went on quite a long bus journey to Yorkshire, but it was worth the wait! we headed off at 7:30 to Eden camp (which was once a prisoner of war camp in WWII) and we all had a great time. We set off in groups going to different display huts which show scenes from WWII. My favourite hut was 'The Blitz', which was where we entered the big hut and there were big displaies of houses in WWII. The wax models were great, and so realistic - some of them were moving!
Nearer to the end of the trip it started to rain quite hard and my group were next to the Anderson shelters, so we all got in them and laughed!
When I got to the hotel I got my stuff to my room, had a great dinner then we went swimming in groups! I have come back from the pool and my hair is still soaked!
The first day was great, I can't wait till tomorrow!
